USAID project announces fast procurement of 54 pickup trucks, 4 brigade vehicles for Ukraine

MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - The Energy Security Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Tetra Tech ES, Inc. as part of international technical assistance has announced a tender for 54 pickup trucks and four brigade vehicles for Ukraine.

An announcement published in the Prozorro public procurement system cited by Ukrainian media says that price offers can be submitted until January 22, 2024.

"This is a fact procurement for the provision of critical equipment and/or services for Ukrainian public utilities and other companies of the national energy system. The capacity of bidders to rapidly deliver the required goods, materials and/or services are a chief criterion of the evaluation," the announcement said.

The tender seeks to procure four TK-IV-ARM brigade vehicles on the Iveco Daily 55 SW chassis or their analogue for the Sumy region.

It is also planned to procure 54 four-wheel drive while pickup trucks Toyota Hilux (or their equivalent) made in 2023-2024, powered by a diesel engine of at least 150 h/p and at least 2,390 cubic centimeter volume, with at least 210mm clearance and capacity to carry at least five passengers.

Bidders must have at least two years of experience in production and delivery of such products and certified availability of service centers.

As reported, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Defense Procurement Agency plans to buy 1,016 pickup trucks worth of almost 1.75 billion hryvni before March 15, 2024.
