NEW DELHI. Dec 26 (Interfax) - Russia and India have signed an agreement regarding two new power units for India's Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said on Tuesday.

"Today, in my presence and that of deputy prime minister Manturov we signed some very important agreements pertaining to the future units of the Kudankulam project," Jaishankar said when giving a speech in Moscow, without elaborating on what exactly these agreements envisage.

Moscow and New Delhi also effectively cooperate in the space and defense sectors, he said.
