NBU to hold on-site check of Oschadbank, Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine, NovaPay, Moneycom in 2024
MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) will conduct on-site monitoring of four entities subject to oversight, such as state-owned Oschadbank (Kiev), Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine (Kiev), Nova Poshta's NovaPay payment system and Swift Garant LLC's Moneycom payment system, in 2024, Ukrainian media reported on Monday, citing a statement on the NBU website.
The measure will help "verify compliance with Ukrainian legislation and the sufficiency of measures taken by payment market participants to ensure the continuous, reliable and effective functioning of the payment infrastructure," the NBU said.
Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine will be the first to undergo the NBU's check in the second quarter of 2024, to be followed by Oschadbank and Swift Garant LLC in the third quarter, and NovaPay in October-December, the regulator said.
