Ukraine extends embargo, other restrictions on importing Russian goods for another year

MOSCOW. Dec 22 (Interfax) - The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended restrictions on trade with Russia until December 31, 2024, Ukrainian media reported, citing the government's statement.

Taras Melnychuk, government representative in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, posted on his Telegram channel that the relevant decisions had been taken during a government meeting on Friday.

Specifically, the Ukrainian government instruction "On banning imports of goods originating from the Russian Federation into the customs territory of Ukraine", dated December 30, 2015, was extended until December 31, 2024, inclusive.

The instruction "On import duty rates for goods originating from the Russian Federation", dated December 30, 2015, has also been extended until December 31, 2024, inclusive.
