McDonald's opens its 99th restaurant in Ukraine
MOSCOW. Dec 20 (Interfax) - The McDonald's fast food chain opened a new restaurant in Lvov on Tuesday, bringing the number of its outlets in Ukraine to 99, Ukrainian media said, citing the company's press service.
The new restaurant in Lvov has an area of 485 square meters, with 123 seats inside and 144 more on the terrace. There are ten self-service kiosks inside the restaurant, which, as well as its McDrive service, is expected to operate from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The new restaurant has helped create 80 new jobs.
McDonald's Ukraine Ltd. is developing the national network. The first McDonald's restaurant in Ukraine opened in Kiev on May 24, 1997. As reported, McDonald's started gradually reopening its restaurants in the country on September 20, 2022. Before February 24, 2022, the chain of McDonald's Ukraine operated 109 restaurants in 24 cities.
According to the unified register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, MCD Europe Limited (100%, London, the UK) is the company shareholder.
