China-Russia bilateral trade tops $200 bln - Xi Jinping
BEIJING. Dec 20 (Interfax) - The task of enlarging China-Russia trade to $200 billion has been accomplished ahead of time, Chinese President Xi Jinping said.
Bilateral trade reached $218.28 billion by the end of this year, Xi said at negotiations with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Beijing.
"The task we set with [Russian] President Putin five years ago to enlarge bilateral trade to $200 billion has been accomplished ahead of time," Xi said, adding that demonstrated positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation.
