Lukashenko adopts draft EAEU-Iran free trade agreement

MINSK. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has endorsed a draft free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran.

"Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has adopted a draft Free Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union, its member states and Iran as a basis for talks," the statement said.

Lukashenko signed the corresponding decree on December 18.

Lukashenko tasked the government with negotiating the draft agreement and its signing upon reaching an agreement in line with the endorsed draft.
