Ukrainian company DTEK repairs, puts up to 150 MW TPP unit into operation

MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - DTEK has put another thermal power plant unit with a capacity of up to 150 MW into operation following its overhaul.

"We have completed another overhaul and reconnected a power unit of one of the company's thermal power plants to the power grid," Ukrainian media quoted DTEK as saying on social media on Monday.

The capacity added to the power grid is already in operation and carrying a load, which is planned to be increased to 150 MW in the near future, the company said.

As part of the annual scheduled repair campaign, DTEK has repaired 24 power units at its thermal power plants (TPPs), the statement added.

As reported, DTEK planned to repair 27 power units in 2023. Investments in this were estimated at around UAH 3.9 billion.

The company has repaired 19 power units by the onset of the autumn and winter seasons.
