Germany's SAP to invest 2 mln euros in product localization in Ukraine in 2024

MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Germany's software and cloud services developer SAP plans to invest 2 million euros in localization of its products in Ukraine in 2024, Ukrainian media reported, citing the Digital Transformation Ministry in a statement on social media.

"SAP is a German developer of software and cloud services. Since the beginning of 2022, the company has been supporting Ukraine by providing services and software licenses for free. Now it has decided to continue doing so until the end of the first quarter of 2024," Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov said on social media last Friday.

The company's technological support is estimated at 65 million euros.

"SAP products provide assistance in the field of medical procurement. They introduced a cloud-based solution to this area in order to quickly find and engage suppliers who can deliver critically needed goods. The company also helped set up catalogs to search and compare prices for specific medical goods that made it possible to purchase them at lower prices," Fedorov said.

SAP has recently launched GROW with SAP, an ERP solution for medium-sized businesses, while joining SAP Business Network makes it easier for Ukrainian goods to enter international markets, the ministry also said.
