Naftogaz pays 83.7 bln hryvni in taxes in 11 months of 2023

MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - The Naftogaz group paid 83.7 billion hryvni in taxes to the Ukrainian state budget and local budgets in January-November 2023.

"Since the beginning of the year, enterprises of the Naftogaz group transferred 77.4 billion hryvni in taxes to the state budget. Another 6.3 billion hryvni in taxes were allocated to local budgets in the same period," Ukrainian media outlets said, citing the company's website on Friday.

A total of 8.3 billion hryvni were transferred to budgets in January, 4.5 billion hryvni in February, 13.1 billion hryvni in March, 6.7 billion hryvni in April, ten billion hryvni in May, 5.6 billion hryvni in June, 3.8 billion hryvni in July, nine billion hryvni in August, 9.3 billion hryvni in September, 5.1 billion hryvni in October, and 8.3 billion hryvni in November.

Naftogaz continues making its contribution to the support of the economic sustainability of Ukraine, Naftogaz CEO Alexei Chernyshov said.

As reported, in 2022, the Naftogaz group paid nearly 100 billion hryvni to budgets and 116 billion hryvni in 2021.
