Ukraine to denounce agreement with Belarus on promotion, mutual protection of investments

MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to terminate the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Belarus on the promotion and mutual protection of investments.

A relevant decision was made at a meeting of the government on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing the government's representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

In particular, the bill "On the termination of the agreement between the government of Ukraine and the government of the Republic of Belarus on the promotion and mutual protection of investments", which was signed in Kiev on December 14, 1995, was endorsed.
