Russian State Duma concludes autumn session

MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - The Russian State Duma concluded its autumn session on Friday, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said, adding that almost 700 bills were adopted this year.

"Six hundred and ninety-four bills were adopted in 2023," Volodin said at the session's closure.

Quality is more important than quantity, Volodin said. The quality of bills has improved and, "most importantly, they are increasingly based on feedback from voters," he said.
