Zelensky speaks to EU summit participants via video link, urges them to start talks on Ukraine's accession

MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has addressed the participants in a European Council meeting via video link to urge the European Union leaders to make a decision on starting negotiations on Ukraine's accession.

"We've honored all of our obligations. Today is a day for a political decision in response to what we have achieved. I mean the opening of negotiations on Ukraine's accession," Ukrainian media have quoted Zelensky as saying in his address.
