Kyrgyz parliament approves $4.2 bln draft budget for 2024
BISHKEK. Dec 14 (Interfax) - The Kyrgyz parliament has approved the country's draft budget of $4.2 billion for 2024, a parliament spokesperson said on Thursday.
"The Jogorku Kenesh [Kyrgyz parliament] approved the draft budget for 2024. The budget's overall revenue next year will stand at 378.4 billion som ($4.2 billion) and expenditure at 367.5 billion som ($4.1 billion)," the spokesperson said.
Next year's budget surplus will be 10.9 billion som, or $122 million, he said.
The 2024 Kyrgyz budget bill has now been submitted to the president for signing.
