Polish carriers not allowed blocking Yagodin-Dorohusk checkpoint

MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - The Dorohusk mayor did not allow a new protest of carriers to be held on the road to the Yagodin-Dorohusk checkpoint at the border with Ukraine, Ukrainian media said with the reference to RMF24.

As he revoked the permit for carriers' protest on the road to the border checkpoint, Mayor Wojciech Sawa referred to the legal opportunity to ban a protest in case of a possible risk to property, RMF24.

It said that the protesters did not agree with the Dorohusk mayor's decision to revoke the permit.

"The truckers said they would lodge an appeal with a court and will file new applications for protest in several places," the report said.
