MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Eduard Khudainatov's Independent Oil and Gas Company (NNK) has become the new owner of the former assets of Ruspetro Group - Inga JSC and Trans-Oil JSC, the Kommersant newspaper reported, citing sources.
According to the newspaper, six entities make bids for the assets, including Lukoil, which offered a lower price.
As reported, Trust sold Inga and Trans-Oil at the end of November for a total amount of over 20 billion rubles after a starting price of 7.8 billion rubles. The buyer was not disclosed by the bank.
Trust received these assets as a result of buying out their shares in June as part of the Ruspetro group bankruptcy. While preparing the companies for sale, the bank decided to settle their debt to creditors in the amount of 24 billion rubles (the creditors' meeting approved the relevant settlement agreement).
JSC Inga holds licenses for oil and gas production in the Pottymsko-Inginskiy and Vostochno-Inginskiy blocks of the Krasnoleninskoye field in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. Trans-Oil JSC has a valid license for the Palyanovsky block (the south-eastern part) in the same region.
The companies have all the necessary infrastructure for production, including a booster pump station with an oil treatment unit, as well as a delivery point for the main pipeline, Trust said. The well pads are accessible year-round. The recoverable reserves (ABC1+C2) of the two companies amount to 127 million tonnes of oil and 23 billion cubic meters of gas, with 120,000 tonnes of oil production in 2022.
Ruspetro is an independent oil company with assets in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. The group's revenue in 2021 amounted to 3.5 billion while EBITDA stood at 1.2 billion.
