Russian, Belarusian foreign ministries to hold joint board meeting in Moscow

MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik will visit Moscow on December 14-15 for a joint board meeting of the Belarusian and Russian foreign ministries, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"The Belarusian foreign minister will visit Moscow on December 14-15 for a joint board meeting of our foreign ministries. The program envisages the foreign ministers' negotiations to address current issues of cooperation between the two foreign ministries and to exchange views on topical international and regional affairs," Zakharova said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

The joint board meeting of the Russian and Belarusian foreign ministries due on December 15 will highlight political, trade and economic cooperation of both countries with Asia, Latin America and Africa and Eurasian security, Zakharova said.

The meeting will end with signing joint documents, including a foreign policy action plan for 2024-2026, she said.
