Georgia's tourism revenue to grow 19% to $4 bln in 2023 - survey
TBILISI. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Georgia's tourism revenue will total $4.2 billion in 2023, up 19% from the year before, the Galt&Taggart investment bank said in a survey.
Bank experts are expecting tourism revenue to grow 7% to $4.5 billion in 2024.
Georgia earned $3.9 billion from tourism in January-November 2023, 22.4% more than before, the survey said.
Meanwhile, the Georgian National Tourism Administration posted a record $3.52-billion tourism revenue in 2022, or 1.8 times more than in 2021.
