Ukrainian FM Kuleba: Kiev has met European Commission's recommendations

MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Europe's security and prosperity depend on the European Union's enlargement, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said at a meeting of European Union foreign ministers in Brussels.

Kuleba informed the EU member states that Ukraine has met the European Commission's recommendations that are essential for starting negotiations on joining the EU, Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry press service.

"We expect that the European Union will make the required decisions to launch the Ukraine Facility for 2024-2027 as soon as possible so as to ensure long-term support for Ukraine," he said.
