Zelensky attends inauguration of Argentine president-elect

MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has attended the inauguration of Argentine President-elect Javier Milei in Buenos Aires.

"This is a new beginning for Argentina and I wish President Milei and the people of Argentina to surprise the world with their successes," Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky as saying on a social network on Sunday night.

"I am sure that bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Argentina will broaden," Zelensky said.

According to the media, Zelensky met with a number of Latin American leaders, among them the presidents of Ecuador and Uruguay, while in Argentina.
