Around 3,500 trucks standing in lines at Polish-Ukrainian border

MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Around 3,500 trucks were standing in lines at the Ukrainian-Polish border to cross into Ukraine as of Sunday morning, December 10, Ukrainian media reported, citing Ukrainian State Border Service spokesperson Andrei Demchenko.

"The situation is almost unchanged. Four destinations are blocked. [These are] Rava-Russkaya - Hrebenne, Yagodin - Dorohusk, Krakovets - Korczowa, and Shegini - Medyka," Demchenko said during a national telethon on Sunday.

The most trucks, precisely, 1,200 trucks are standing in front of the Shegini checkpoint, and almost 900 in front of the Yagodin checkpoint, he said.

"Of course, a certain number of trucks cross into Ukraine and leave Ukraine toward Poland throughout the day, but there is no pace and intensity, which was seen there before November 6," Demchenko added.
