Iran's Entekhab Industrial Group to invest 23 bln rubles to produce appliances in Vladimir Region - local authorities

VORONEZH. Dec 8 (Interfax) - Iran's Entekhab Industrial Group (EIG) plans to invest 22.8 billion rubles to establish production of household appliances in Russia's Vladimir Region, regional governor Alexander Avdeev posted on his Telegram channel.

EIG's representative in Russia, MD Russia Global LLC, and the regional governor signed the corresponding agreement on Friday at the Vladimir Investment Congress that is taking place in Suzdal.

Production facilities are expected to be established in the Alexandrovsky District. "The investment project is planned to be implemented in 2023-2030. A leading Iranian manufacturer of household appliances is ready to start manufacturing refrigerators, televisions, washing machines, dishwashers, and gas stoves in our region," Avdeev posted, noting that 1,200 new jobs would be created from the project.

Entekhab Industrial Group is a large Iranian company that manufactures household appliances under the brands Snowa, Tecnogas, Daewoo, and Bost.
