Over $500 mln raised by United24 platform for Ukraine to date - Zelensky
MOSCOW. Dec 8 (Interfax) - The United24 fundraising platform has collected more than $500 million since it began operating, Ukrainian media said, citing President Vladimir Zelensky's remarks in a video address on Thursday.
"Overall, this week, we are reaching the $500 million mark that has already been raised during the functioning of United24," Zelensky said.
These funds will be used, among other purposes, to buy generators for hospitals and other equipment and will be spent on apartment buildings and schools, Zelensky said. Some of this money will finance the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, he said.
