New commercial vehicles market in Ukraine doubles in Nov - Ukravtoprom

MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - In total, 1,031 new commercial vehicles, including trucks and special vehicles, were registered in Ukraine in November, which is twice as much as the figure for the same month last year, Ukrainian media reported, citing Ukravtoprom as saying on social media.

At the same time, the number of registered vehicles rose 6%, or by 54 vehicles, compared to October of this year.

Renault remains the market leader with a significant lead of 241 vehicles. Peugeot ranked second with 74 vehicles, up from the third position in October. Ford is in the third position with 72 vehicles, and Mercedes-Benz is the fourth with 71 vehicles registered. MAN closes out the top five with 67 vehicles, which climbed to the second position in the rating in October this year.

In total, Ukraine's fleet of trucks and special vehicles was replenished with more than 10,100 new vehicles in January-November 2023, which is up 71% year-on-year, Ukravtoprom said.

As reported, the market of new commercial vehicles declined by 2.3 times to 6,900 in 2022 year-on-year, Ukravtoprom said.
