Putin, Saudi crown prince discuss cooperation within OPEC+ at talks - Peskov

RIYADH. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud discussed cooperation as part of OPEC+ and agreed to continue it.

"They once again spoke about cooperation within OPEC+. The parties agree that our countries carry great responsibility for interaction in order to maintain the international energy market at a proper level, in a stable and predictable state," Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters after the talks.

"This cooperation will continue," Peskov said.

"They also compared notes in detail on areas where the sides are interested in further developing and deepening cooperation," he said.

"It is about economic, investment cooperation, culture and experience sharing. Saudi Arabia has won the right to host the Expo 2030 and the [FIFA] World Cup, and here of course our experience in holding major international events is difficult to overestimate," Peskov said.
