Russia harvests over 150 mln tonnes of grain - dep minister

MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Russia harvested more than 150 million tonnes of grain by the start of December, Deputy Agriculture Minister Maxim Uvaidov said at the Federation Council.

"Our farmers have harvested more than 150 million tonnes. This is the second highest total [ever]," he said.

This is a bunker weight figure for grain before drying and cleaning. The clean weight total will be given later.

The record clean weight harvest was 157.7 million tonnes, including 104.2 million tonnes of what, in 2022. The Russian Agriculture Ministry has forecast a clean weight harvest of more than 140 million tonnes, including 93 million tonnes of wheat, in 2023.
