Russia's seaports on Black Sea, Kerch crossing operating as per weather conditions - Transport Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Russia's seaports on the Black Sea basin and at the Kerch ferry crossing have been operating according to actual weather conditions on December 4, taking into account restrictions in accordance with ship documents and mandatory regulations at the relevant seaports, the Transport Ministry said in a statement.

There have been nine ferry trips at the Kerch sea-crossing area in the past 24 hours.

The Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Roshydromet) in the Kerch Strait area forecasts winds at northwest, north 6m-11 m/sec, gusts up to 14 m/sec in places; precipitation at times, visibility is good; precipitation at 2-4 km; wave height at 30cm-80cm; air temperatures at +2C-4C, and seawater temperatures at +10C-11C.
