Center for European Policy Analysis designated undesirable organization in Russia

MOSCOW. Nov 28 (Interfax) - The United States' Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) has been designated undesirable in Russia and placed in a relevant register of the Justice Ministry.

CEPA was put on the list of foreign and international nongovernmental organizations, whose operation is deemed undesirable on Russian territory, on Tuesday, the ministry said on its website.

The decisions designating the Center undesirable were issued by the Russian Prosecutor General's Office on October 23 this year, it said.

According to its website, CEPA is a nonprofit engaged in "strengthening the transatlantic alliance through cutting-edge research, analysis, and programs."
