EU sanctions envoy to visit Kazakhstan on Nov 28

ASTANA. Nov 27 (Interfax) - International Special Envoy for the Implementation of EU Sanctions David O'Sullivan will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on Tuesday, the press service for the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan said.

International Special Envoy for the Implementation of EU Sanctions David O'Sullivan will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on November 28, 2023 to meet with Kazakh officials, the press release said on Monday.

The envoy will give a press conference at the end of the visit.

The European Commission established the position of the international special envoy for the implementation of EU sanctions to ensure continuous, high-level discussions with third countries to avoid the evasion or circumvention of the restrictive measures that have been imposed on Russia since the start of the conflict with Ukraine.
