Armenia's withdrawal from CSTO, EAEU not on agenda - Armenian Foreign Ministry

YEREVAN. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Armenia's withdrawal from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) or the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is not on the agenda, same as the pullout of the Russian military base from Armenia, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan said at a briefing in parliament on Thursday.

"There are no such items on our agenda at this stage, at this particular moment," Safaryan said in response to a journalist's question on whether Armenia might raise the question of leaving the CSTO and the EAEU and the Russian military base's withdrawal from Gyumri.

Safaryan described Armenian-Russian relations as a working relationship.

"Naturally, we have disagreements over certain matters. We are working on it," Safaryan said.
