Kiev would like to bring back normal risk insurance regime

MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax) - The law on insurance of investments in Ukraine against military risks, which was passed on Wednesday, is aimed at returning to the normal all risk insurance market operation, Ukrainian media reported, quoting Deputy Economy Minister and Ukrainian Trade Commissioner Taras Kachka as saying on the social media.

It is important to ensure that the price of insurance is affordable, he said.

As reported, the law enables insurance and reinsurance of direct investments, including against risks.

The law stipulates that this kind of insurance be provided only if the investments are channeled to build facilities and infrastructure needed to develop the processing industry and export goods (works, services) of Ukrainian origin.
