Vimpelcom buys 51% of cloud services developer Callibri

MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Vimpelcom (brand name Beeline) has acquired a 51% stake in Kolibri LLC (Callibri), a company that specializes in developing cloud services for marketing professionals, for an undisclosed sum.

After the deal Callibri will retain its brand and autonomy and will continue to be run by its current management, and the teams will remain independent business units, the Russian mobile service provider said in a press release.

Data from the SPARK-Interfax analytics system show that the stake was sold by Kolibri LLC founder Ivan Shkirya, who reduced his stake in the company to 49%.

Callibri is a lead management platform that specializes in marketing analytics, communications and automation.

Callibri's services will supplement the tools of Beeline Adtech, the advertising technology division of Beeline Business, as regards analytics, media advertising and the Beeline.PROmotion platform, Vimpelcom said.

Furthermore, "Callibri's Gudok cloud service for microbusinesses will enable Beeline to supplement its current portfolio of marketing technologies with new products and solutions and jumpstart the development and introduction of new innovative services for its clients," the company said.

"In addition, the partnership of Vimpelcom and Callibri will significantly expand possibilities and improve the quality of the cloud telephone exchange for corporate clients," Vimpelcom said.

Kolibri LLC, which has been working on the market since 2014, has more than 8,000 clients in 108 cities, including almost 2,000 clients of the Gudok service. The company is headquartered in Yekaterinburg and has 71 employees.

Kolibri closed 2022 with a net profit of 9.3 million rubles on revenue of 136.4 million rubles.
