Russian President Putin proposes extending moratorium on unscheduled business inspections until 2024

MOSCOW. Nov 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed extending the moratorium on unscheduled business inspections for another year.

"Let's extend it until 2024," Putin said during a meeting with government members.

The moratorium on scheduled and unscheduled inspections has been in effect for several years. The moratorium on planned inspections is valid until 2030, and the moratorium is not applicable to facilities that are classified as high risk categories and extremely high risk categories, including power plants, chemical industry enterprises, and others.

The moratorium on unscheduled inspections is valid until the end of 2023, excepting those carried out based on risk indicators, such as a set of high-probability signs of mandatory-violation requirements.
