Ukraine's gas producer UGV pays nearly UAH 20 bln of rent payments to budgets in 10 months
MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Ukrgasvydobuvannya (UGV), Ukraine's leading gas producer, paid UAH 19.85 billion in rent payments in January-October 2023, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the UGV press service.
In particular, UAH 992.26 million, or 5% of this amount, was transferred to local and regional budgets, where the company operates.
The Kharkov and the Poltava regions received the largest portions of these payments from January through October 2023 (UAH 484.96 billion and UAH 415.32 million respectively).
As reported earlier, UGV set itself the goal of increasing natural gas production by 1 billion cubic meters to 13.5 billion cubic meters in 2023.
UGV produced 12.5 billion cubic meters of commercial natural gas in 2022, which is 3% less than in 2021.
Naftogaz of Ukraine owns a 100% stake in UGV.
