Rostelecom shareholders approve dividend payment of 5.4465 rubles per share for 2022

MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - The shareholders of PJSC Rostelecom at the annual general meeting approved a dividend payment of 5.4465 rubles per ordinary share and per preferred share for 2022, the company said in a statement.

Rostelecom plans to allocate a total of 19 billion rubles for dividend payments. The company posted net profit of 35.2 billion rubles to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in 2022, thus Rostelecom will allocate 53.98% of net profit for dividends. The company allocated 15.9 billion rubles for dividends in 2021, or 50% of net profit to IFRS.

The dividend record date is December 1, 2023. Payment of dividends to nominee shareholders and trustees who are professional participants in the securities market must be rendered by December 15 and to other shareholders by January 15, 2024.

The shareholders also approved the company's annual report and the annual financial statements for the 2022 fiscal year, as well as elected the board of directors and the audit commission, elected the auditor, and took decisions on other matters on the agenda, according to the statement.

The AGM had originally been scheduled for June 30, but it was cancelled.
