Russian First Deputy PM Belousov to visit China Nov 20 for meeting of commission on investment cooperation

MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov will lead a Russian delegation to Beijing on November 20 to hold a meeting of the Russia-China Intergovernmental Commission for Investment Cooperation, Belousov's office told reporters.

The Chinese side of the commission is led by Vice Premier Minister Ding Xuexiang.

"Attention will focus on the state of projects and prospects for further cooperation in the area of investment and industry," the office said.

The Russia-China Intergovernmental Commission for Investment Cooperation was formed in 2014 on the initiative of the two countries' leaders. Its main objective is to assist in the implementation of investment projects in the non-energy sector and reduce administrative and trade barriers between the two countries.
