Line of vehicles keeps growing on Ukrainian-Polish border

MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - The line of vehicles keeps growing at the blocked checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border, and the situation is the most complicated at the Yagodin-Dorohusk checkpoint.

The line of vehicles at the Yagodin-Dorohusk checkpoint has reached 1 month, 1 day, 22 hours and 5 minutes, Ukrainian media reported, citing the eCherga electronic border crossing line service on Saturday. There are 2,521 trucks in the electronic line for crossing the border from Ukraine.

According to eCherga, the number of border crossings has drastically decreased since the beginning of the border blocking, from 433 vehicles that crossed the border on November 5 to 31 (or 5.17% of the normal number) on November 17. The smallest number was observed on November 16, when eight vehicles, or 1.33% of the normal number, crossed the border.

The line at the Krakovets-Korchova checkpoint, also blocked by the protesters, reaches 13 days 3 hours and 4 minutes (there are 2,384 vehicles in the line). The number of border crossings through the checkpoint dropped from 175 in the regular line and 80 in the 1-24 group on November 5 to 155 on November 17.

The line at the Rava Ruska - Hrebenne checkpoint is 9 days 21 hours and 15 minutes. There are 1,950 vehicles in the line.

As reported, "protest organizers plan to let one truck cross the border per hour, alongside trucks carrying security and humanitarian cargo, perishable goods and similar products."
