Temporary maritime corridor transited by 151 ships - Ukrainian Restoration Ministry

MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - A total of 151 vessels, including 121 outbound ones carrying 4.4 million tonnes of exports, have transited the temporary maritime corridor unilaterally opened by Kiev since August 10, 2023, Ukrainian Deputy Restoration Minister Yury Vaskov said.

Vaskov said at the Infrastructure Day 2023 of the European Business Association in Kiev on Friday that the exports included 3.2 million tonnes of grain, Ukrainian media said.

According to the deputy minister, 30 ships are being loaded, including 22 with 0.7 million tonnes of exported grain and eight with 0.6 million tonnes of other goods.

According to Vaskov, 67 ships are declared to arrive at Ukrainian ports through the maritime corridor, including 56 (with a total deadweight of 1.7 million tonnes) for grain exports and 21 (0.6 million tonnes) for transportation of other goods.
