McDonald's opens restaurant in Ukraine's Yaremche
MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - The McDonald's fast food chain opened its new restaurant in Yaremche in the Ivano-Frankovsk region of Ukraine on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said citing the company's press service.
According to the press service, the restaurant occupying the area of over 407 square meters has 123 seats inside and 112 on its terrace. Tourists on cars can park them in a large car park outside the restaurant or use the McDrive service. Both the restaurant and McDrive will operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
McDonald's Ukraine Ltd., an enterprise with foreign investments, is developing the fast food chain in the country. It opened its first restaurant in Kiev on May 24, 1997. The fast food chain had 109 restaurants in 24 Ukrainian cities in the beginning of 2022. A total of 97 restaurants, including the one in Yaremche, are currently operating.
According to Ukraine's unified state register of legal entities and natural person-entrepreneurs, MCD Europe Limited based in London, United Kingdom, controls 100% of shares in McDonald's Ukraine Ltd.
