Inflation expectations in Russia surge to 12.2% in Nov from 11.2% in Oct - survey for CBR

MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Household inflation expectations in Russia are up markedly from 11.2% in October to 12.2% in November, according to a short survey by InFOM for the Central Bank and posted on the regulator's website.

Inflation observed by households has risen to 15.1% in November from 13.9% in October.

The Central Bank of Russia plans to publish the full survey with comments on November 23.

The Central Bank in 2021 decided to publish information on inflation expectations as data becomes available, even if it falls during the seven-day silence ahead of a policy decision. The next policy meeting is scheduled for December 15.
