Armenian FM, European Commission vice-president discuss liberalizing Armenia-EU visa system - Yerevan

YEREVAN. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and European Commission Vice-President for Protecting the European Way of Life Margaritis Schinas have discussed liberalization of the Armenia-EU visa system and cooperation with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency at a meeting in Brussels.

"Mirzoyan hailed positive dynamics in the start of a dialogue on liberalizing the visa system. He underlined that a final decision would help deepen cooperation between Armenia and the European Union," the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service said.

Mirzoyan and Schinas also addressed Armenia's cooperation with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) and a number of matters concerning security and regional stability.
