Rosseti investment program expected at 540 bln rubles in 2023

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - The Rosseti investment program in 2023 will amount to about 540 billion rubles, said Andrei Ryumin, the company's CEO, during a meeting on preparations for the 2023-2024 winter period.

Financing of power supply to the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) and the Trans-Siberian Railway are among the key investment projects, the executive said in particular.

Financing the Rosseti investment program should exceed 1 trillion rubles in 2023-2024, with funds covering projects of both the main and the distribution complex, as well as investments of subsidiaries, Ryumin told reporters on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) 2023.

The Russian president in June 2023 instructed the government "to optimize" the investment program by reducing its financing in 2023-2027 and postponing several projects.
