Naftogaz pays UAH 75.4 billion in taxes in Jan-Oct 2023

MOSCOW. 14 (Interfax) - Naftogaz Group paid UAH 75.4 billion in taxes to the state and local budgets in January-October 2023.

Ukrainian media reported citing the Naftogaz press service that the group paid UAH 69.8 billion to the state budget, which makes 11.5% of all payments controlled by the Ukrainian State Tax Service, and nearly UAH 6 billion more to local budgets in this period of time.

"Our job is not only [to ensure] the country's energy sustainability but also its economic sustainability. Our companies transferred UAH 4.7 billion to the state budget in October. We work consistently on increasing our profits, which subsequently produces larger deductions to the country's budget," the press service quoted Naftogaz CEO Alexei Chernyshov as saying.

As reported, Naftogaz Group transferred nearly UAH 100 billion to the budgets in 2022 and UAH 116 billion in 2021.
