Armenian PM Pashinyan will not take part in CSTO summit in Minsk

YEREVAN. Nov 14 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not take part in a Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit in Minsk on November 23, the Armenian government said.

"Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko have had a phone call initiated by Belarus. The Armenian prime minister informed the Belarusian president that he will be unable to take part in a CSTO Collective Security Council meeting, and said he expected his CSTO counterparts to treat this decision with understanding," it said.

Pashinyan and Lukashenko also discussed the CSTO Collective Security Council meeting in Minsk on November 23, it said.
