Ukraine's DTEK Oil & Gas reports rise in gas production efficiency
MOSCOW. Nov 13 (Interfax) - Ukrainian company DTEK Oil & Gas has increased the deliverability of a gas well at a deposit in the Poltava region by 65% through intensifying gas production operations, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing information circulated by the company on social media.
The project that involved a carbonate reservoir's repeat massive stimulation was carried out by the company's specialists together with international partners.
As reported, DTEK Oil & Gas produced 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2022, and 2.06 bcm in 2021. In 2023, the company plans to invest $120 million-$130 million in its production operations. It will spend 70% of this amount on developing new deposits.
Companies that are part of DTEK Oil & Gas acquired at an open auction in November 2022 the right to develop two gas fields in the Poltava region - the Mayorovskaya field for UAH 1.102 billion and the Birkovsko-Zinkovskaya field for UAH 211 million.
