Armenia to host OSCE Parliamentary Assembly session

YEREVAN. Nov 13 (Interfax) - Yerevan will host an autumn session of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Parliamentary Assembly on November 18-20, the Armenian parliament said.

"An autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly with the theme the OSCE in Times of Crisis: Role of the PA in Responding to Internal and External Challenges, will take place at the Armenian National Assembly on November 18-20," the parliament press service said.

Delegations from 57 countries are expected to arrive in Armenia to discuss issues relating to the South Caucasus, it said.

The Armenian parliament speaker sent a formal letter to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly president and secretary-general on June 13 to confirm Armenia's readiness to host the autumn session in Yerevan, the press service said.
