Ukraine's Nova Post opens 1st outlet in Hungary, plans to enter Austria, Italy, France by end of 2023

MOSCOW. Nov 10 (Interfax) - The Nova Post group of companies (Nova Poshta), Ukraine's express delivery market leader, has opened its first outlet in Budapest, making Hungary the tenth foreign market where the company is now present, Ukrainian media reported citing Nova Post's press release.

"The Nova Post outlet in Budapest is unique in that it simultaneously serves as a co-working space for the Ukrainian community," Nova Post co-owner Vyacheslav Klimov said.

Nova Post clients can also use the co-working space to study a language or attend retraining courses or lectures.

The Hungarian outlet operates seven days a week, and its clients can receive and send to Ukraine documents and parcels weighing up to 100 kilos.

The cost of delivery from Ukraine to Hungary is UAH 250 for documents, UAH 400 for parcels weighing up to 2 kilos, UAH 600 up to 10 kilos, and UAH 1,200 up to 30 kilos. The delivery of parcels weighing from 30 to 100 kilos costs UAH 40 per kilo.

The time of delivery from Ukraine to Hungary is from five days.

Nova Post's Hungarian outlet also provides a courier service paid extra in the amount of UAH 100 for parcels weighing up to 30 kilos or UAH 250 per each 100 kilos, the press release said.

As reported earlier, Nova Post plans also to enter the Italian, French, and Austrian markets by the end of 2023.

As of early November, Nova Post operated nearly 11,000 outlets and over 14,600 parcel lockers around Ukraine.

The group incorporates a number of Ukrainian and foreign companies, among them, in particular, Nova Post, the NovaPay payment system, and Nova Global.
