Denmark to provide $42.9 mln aid package to Ukraine

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Participants of the Nikolayev - Nikolayev Region - Denmark Partnership Committee have approved a new aid package for Ukraine worth $42.9 million, Ukrainian media reported citing the press service for the Ukrainian Ministry of Reconstruction.

The aid package will be aimed at purchasing and installing equipment for heating, water supply, centralized heating system, and supporting the rebuilding of social infrastructure in the region, the statement said.

As reported, a memorandum of partnership between Denmark, Nikolayev and the Nikolayev Region was signed in March 2023, under which cooperation between the parties focuses on eight areas: infrastructure, effective governance, maritime industry, transport, urban planning, development of small and medium-sized businesses, green transition, youth and culture.
