Armenian Security Council secretary, U.S. Dept of State rep discuss Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization
YEREVAN. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and U.S. Department of State Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations, U.S. Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Louis Bono have discussed the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
"Grigoryan and Bono have discussed the efforts aimed to bring enduring peace and stability to the region and the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations," the Armenian Security Council's press service said.
The sides also discussed a number of issues "of mutual interest," the press service said.
As reported, Grigoryan did not take part in a meeting of the CIS security council secretaries on Wednesday. Armenian Ambassador in Moscow Vagharshak Harutyunyan represented Yerevan at the meeting.
