Over five companies preparing for IPO - MOEX department head

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - More than five companies are preparing to hold IPOs on the Moscow Exchange by the end of the year, but the timing of some placements may shift to the right depending on market conditions, Natalia Loginova, director of the exchange's issuer relations department, told Interfax.

"More than five companies are preparing to place before the end of the year. Whether they will place or not depends on market conditions. Someone may make a deal, and someone may decide that it is not time for them yet and shift to the right," Loginova said.

In April of this year, Genetico, a genetics and reproductive medicine center (a subsidiary of Artgen Biotech ), launched its IPO on the Moscow Exchange; in July there was a placement by Smarttechgroup, whose main asset is the microfinance company CarMoney .

In September, trading in shares of IT solutions provider Softline PJSC was launched, in October - Astra Group PJSC (the parent structure of the eponymous group of IT companies engaged in the development of infrastructure software, including the Astra Linux operating system), and in November - Russian men's clothing retailer Henderson .
